Hard panniers or soft bags
Hard panniers, aluminium ones for example, lock, keep their shape and protect your luggage from rain and dust, which is why they are a common choice for long trips on tarmac. Soft bags are lighter and more forgiving in an off-road fall, including for the rider’s legs. Many riders combine them: soft bags or side panniers, plus a tank bag for the things you want within reach.
Racks matter as much as the luggage
Panniers and bags attach to racks made for a specific motorcycle model. The right rack keeps the luggage stable at speed and on rough roads and transfers the load to the right points on the frame. Before fitting, we check which racks suit your bike and whether they work with the protection, auxiliary lights or exhaust already fitted.
Getting ready for a long trip
If you are planning a long trip, we can prepare the whole bike: luggage, auxiliary lights, navigation or CarPlay, phone charging and protection. You can choose a single service or a complete turnkey setup. Tell us where you are going, for how long and whether you are taking a passenger, and we come back with a recommended setup, a timeline and a transparent cost.
