What we wire in
The most common jobs are USB chargers and power sockets for a phone or sat nav, power for CarPlay screens and charging phone mounts, extra handlebar switches, and relays for lights or an extra horn. We also connect other equipment needed on long trips, after checking how much current it draws and where it can be mounted safely.
Why relays and fuses matter
A motorcycle’s factory wiring is sized for the factory equipment. An accessory spliced straight into an existing wire can overload the circuit, cause errors on bikes with a CAN bus, or drain the battery while the bike is parked. That is why we power accessories through a separate circuit with its own fuse and, where needed, an ignition-switched relay, so the equipment turns off with the motorcycle.
Charging for your phone and navigation
For your phone we fit USB sockets or dedicated chargers, and if you use your phone for navigation we can fit a Quad Lock mount, including the charging version. On compatible BMW motorcycles, accessory power can run through HEX ezCAN so it is controlled from the original switches. We choose the solution based on your bike, your phone and how you ride.
Booking at the workshop
